Ideal for
the Aquarium market,
the SMS122 pH Controller enables you
to automate your dosing of CO2
and makes sure that the plants of your
aquarium are always healthy.
Carbon dioxide (CO2) is one of the most important nutrients plants need in order to grow. Carbon is the one fundamental element that stands at the base of all life on Earth, underwater world included. The major reason for which CO2 is so important for plants stands in the fact that it is involved in their process of photosynthesis – converting light into energy. If you want to attain a certain level of lush plant growth you have to mechanically add CO2 to your tank. |
The SMS122 turns off CO2 gas from a regulator with a solenoid once a set point is reached. The controller will provide a stable enviroment for all of your fish tank inhabitants and helps maintain a stable pH in your tank. |
Set up of the controller: |
1.
Plug in both
power cords to the wall. 2. Turn unit on and calibrate the unit following the instructions using the calibration solution for the unit. 3. Place the probe in the water. 4. Plug in your solenoid valve (MA955) power cord into the back side of the second plug. 5. Make your set point. This is the point where you want the SMS122 to turn off. |
